Just reading an article on one of the news sites and they are talking about a huge number of South African motor dealerships closing down (as much as 40%).

Skimming the article, the unions have also indicated that General Motors South Africa is considering retrenching 2000 workers before the end of this year and Ford is looking to drop around 800 staff members from their manufacturing plants…

Not great news at all.
